The Audit History
The Audit History feature is available on every form within the system and is automatically associated with each contact entered into Practice Gateway. Once loaded, Audit History allows you to filter by specific fields to help you locate relevant changes. For example, on the Contact form, you can view every action taken with a client — right down to individual field changes and the user responsible for each update.
You can sort the audit information by several key columns, including Changed Date, Changed By, Event, Changed Field, Old Value, and New Value. This makes it easier to trace specific updates and understand the sequence of changes over time.

- Sort By
Note: Users cannot delete any part of the Audit History. If you notice that you have a “Delete” permission and you are not authorised to have it, please contact your System Administrator immediately to review and adjust your access rights.
Tip: Depending on the number of actions or changes linked to a contact or document, loading the Audit History may take a few extra moments. This is purely due to the volume of data being retrieved.
